Maga Puja Homage to Lord Buddha 2006
Maga Puja Homage to Lord Buddha 13 February 2006
“I’m the candle light. I’m kind of candle bright.” Of course, when the Maga Puja Day is about to fall on the full moon of the third lunar month, all Buddhists nationwide and worldwide will take this opportunity to practice Dhamma to a greater degree, as part of the homage to the Lord Buddha. In the solemn and serene full-moon night of Maga, at the World Dhammakaya Center (WDC) in the Grand Meditation Amphitheatre enclosing the Dhammakaya Cetiya, we will get wrapped in the middle of uncountable gold-glittering lanterns all around. The ground, the crowd, the cloudless sky would be dyed gold by the ocean of candlelit lanterns. That’s the inevitable experience and memory all the attendees will remember for the rest of the time! Candle lights in respect to Lord Buddha would brighten the peaceful mind inside us all.
